Celliola members — composer/cellist Tom Flaherty and violist Cynthia Fogg — welcome friends Rachel Huang (violin), Graydon Beeks (harpsichord), Julia Byl (mbira), Donna Di Grazia (alto), Eric Lindholm (cello), William Peterson (organ) and others in selections including Bialosky's Suite on Jewish Folk Songs for viola and cello, Kodály's Duo, Op. 7 for violin and cello plus works by Pierce and Flaherty. Pianist Lois Svard joins Ms. Lee from Bucknell University via audio/video streaming in Duke Ellington's "Tonk." Other works include a Toccata for harpsichord by  J.S. Bach, Three Preludes by Rachmaninoff, and two world premieres, "One" for speaking pianist by  Kurt Rohde and "Nine Vignettes" by Karl Kohn.

23 - CANCELLED - Chirgilchin: Tuvan Throat Singers
Friday, 8 p.m., Bridges Hall of Music
From Tuva, a small Russian province, Chirgilchin richly creates this ancient vocal tradition in which one singer produces two or more voices simultaneously. The four-member ensemble also plays hand-made instruments. Download the flier.

9 - Scenes from RAMAYANA: AN INDIAN EPIC
Monday, 4 p.m., Bryant Hall, Thatcher Music Building
Balinese music and dance by Gamelan Burat Wangi
Twenty-five gamelan players and 14 dancers enact scenes from a Balinese adaptation of this ancient Hindu epic brought to Bali from India more than a millennium ago. Directed and choreographed by the distinguished duo of I Nyoman Wenten and Nanik Wenten. Download the flier.
